Side panel for VW T7/T6.1/T6/T5 California awning

The side panel for the rollable awning can be attached to both sides of the awning.

Attaching it to the VW T7/T6.1/T6/T5 California's retractable awning is child's play: Fully extend the awning, place the top end of the side panel over the awning arm, close the zipper, and you're done!

The ground guying should be elastic and loose and should always be slightly angled (not vertical) to provide more space and reduce wind resistance.

The side panel can also be rolled up and fixed to the awning arm (comp. picture above: rolled-up side panel on the awning of the silver California).

Scope of delivery: Side panel for awning made of polyester fabric with acrylate coating, saltwater resistant, approx. 1.79 x 2.03 m (w x h), zipper fixing at the awning arms with anti-slipping inserts and hook- and-loop fastener, ground guying accessories; complete weight approx. 1.35 kg.

Front wall for VW T6.1/T6/T5 California awning and others

Attaches with special piping to the front of the awning or to the aluminum rail of the Californias, as well as to the TOP-RAIL.
Three wind guy ropes are integrated into the upper section, which can be secured with guy ropes.
The front panel can be attached to the awning or set up independently as an additional sunshade (see photo right: yellow California). This is particularly practical in midsummer, as it can either create a huge shaded area on the vehicle or shade both sides of the vehicle.

The front wall can also be used as a separate awning on the left side of the vehicle if you want to have shadow on both sides!

Guying set for the awning

The awning guy wire is inserted into the piping rail of the awning front section and secured to the ground with pegs.

The guy rope set is essential and should always be used.
In strong winds, the awning must still be retracted, as recommended by all awning manufacturers.

Scope of delivery: Awning guy rope set with 2 ropes and 2 metal pegs.

Accessories for tents and awnings

  1. T-tent peg, 40 cm, for very stony grounds.
  2. Tin tent peg, 30 cm, for soil & stony or sandy grounds.
  3. Tin tent peg, 22 cm, for soil.
  4. Round headed ground nail, 30 cm, to fix the tent.
  5. Hook headed ground nail, 22 cm, for dry/hard grounds.
  6. Ground nail with hook, 21 cm, for stony grounds.
  7. Pull-out hook for pegs, steel with plastic handle.
