AIR-SAFE ® for VW T7 California / Multivan

The tailgate of the VW T-California models does not have a window that can be opened. The windows between the C- and D-pillars also cannot be opened. This can lead to heat buildup in the rear third of the vehicle in summer.

With the AIR-SAFE ®, the tailgate can be quickly and easily held open approximately 10 cm while still being locked. AIR-SAFE® can also be used with the FLYOUT mosquito nets for the corresponding tailgates.

AIR-SAFE ® is made of stainless steel (V2A) and is simply hooked into the lower locking bar, "extending" the original closure.
The AIR-SAFE® cannot be used on vehicles with an electric tailgate (optional extra).

The rear cargo area cannot be aired by windows. As a result, air and heat accumulate. With the AIR-SAFE the tailgate can be opened quickly and simply approx. 10 cm and still be locked.

AIR-SAFE is made of stainless high-grade steel (V2A) and is hooked into the closure bail as an elongation of the original catch.

AIR-SAFE is available for all VW T6.1/T6/T5 with tailgate with power latching.

AIR-SAFE is available for all VW Caddy and VW T6.1/T6/T5 Transporter tailgates without electromechanic closing aid as well as for all VW T4.

The FLYOUT for the tailgate opening of the VW Caddy 5 has a special opening to insert the AIR-SAFE - if AIR-SAFE is not used, the opening can be closed with a hook-and-loop fastener strap. Thus, insects can't reach the inside of the vehicle.
