AIR-SAFE^® SMART for VW T7, VW ID.Buzz, VW Caddy 5

The tailgate of the VW T-California models does not have a window that can be opened. The windows between the C- and D-pillars also cannot be opened. This can lead to heat buildup in the rear third of the vehicle in summer.

With the AIR-SAFE^® SMART, the tailgate can be quickly and easily held open by approximately 15 cm while still being locked. AIR-SAFE^® SMART is compatible with all FLYOUT tailgates for the VW T7, ID.Buzz and Caddy 5.

Here is an example of how to use the AIR-SAFE SMART with the electric tailgate of the VW T7: Insert, push to the left and down, step away and close the tailgate electrically.

The AIR-SAFE^® is made of rustproof stainless steel (V2A) and simply hooks onto the lower locking bar, effectively extending the original latch.

The AIR-SAFE^® SMART can also be used with the optional electric tailgate.

The rear cargo area cannot be aired by windows. As a result, air and heat accumulate. With the AIR-SAFE the tailgate can be opened quickly and simply approx. 10 cm and still be locked.

AIR-SAFE is made of stainless high-grade steel (V2A) and is hooked into the closure bail as an elongation of the original catch.

AIR-SAFE is available for all VW T6.1/T6/T5 with tailgate with power latching.

The coeval use of a FLYOUT mosquito net for the tailgate assures a night without mosquitos.

The tailgate of the VW Caddy 5 models does not have a window that can be opened. The windows between the C and D pillars are also fixed. Many vehicles also have fixed windows in the sliding doors. This can lead to heat buildup in the passenger compartment, especially in the rear third of the vehicle, during the summer.

With AIR-SAFE^® SMART, the tailgate can be quickly and easily held open approximately 15 cm while still being locked. AIR-SAFE^® is also compatible with the FLYOUT system for the Caddy 5 tailgate.

AIR-SAFE is available for all VW Caddy 4 and VW T6.1/T6/T5 Transporter tailgates without electromechanic closing aid.
